The retirement of one of the firm’s senior property partners had left a significant gap in the team and a client base to be serviced. 

Thus, the firm sought a client facing individual, with a track record of developing relationships with contacts that have led to repeat instructions. The individual would also need to show the ability to grow, develop, manage and motivate a team of lawyers, both at assistant and partner level and be hungry to build a practice.

Having produced an in-depth research document, which included feedback on recommended targets from known industry experts, a very focused shortlist was agreed on. The favoured candidate was approached, and in a very short period of time agreed to join Trowers & Hamlins.
