January 2010 – Glass is very pleased to announce the opening of its new offshore brand, Glass International, which will be run by former Maples and Calder Head of Global Recruitment, Ed Strickland. Ed practiced as a lawyer in the UK for six years, before being admitted as an Attorney in the Cayman Islands where he worked for a leading offshore law firm, Ogier. Ed left practice in 2005, establishing an offshore legal recruitment business for Michael Page before moving to Maples and Calder. He specialises in recruiting partners and lawyers for the leading international and offshore law firms in jurisdictions across the world including: Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Dubai, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Jersey and Luxembourg.
