Jonathan Glass

...is one of the most experienced headhunters in the legal market. For over 13 years, he has specialised in headhunting teams, partners and associates for a number of leading firms, including the development of the London offices of US law firms. Jonathan has experience of searching for lawyers from both private practice and in-house for key industry roles.

Adam Houghton

...has been active in the legal recruitment market since 1999, assisting both law firms and individuals to achieve their strategic goals. Over recent years, Adam has focused almost entirely on search and has completed assignments in many disciplines and for a variety of firms.  He has particular knowledge of the Insurance, Insolvency, Construction and Tax sectors. Adam was one of the founding members of the City team for Quantica Legal before leaving to lead the legal division of Hanover Search & Selection. Adam joined Glass Consultancy in 2007.

Ed Strickland

...practised as a lawyer in the UK for six years, before being admitted as an Attorney in the Cayman Islands, where he worked for a leading offshore law firm, Ogier. Ed left practice in 2005, establishing an offshore legal recruitment business for Michael Page, before being hired by Maples and Calder to head up their global recruitment. Ed specialises in recruiting partners and lawyers for the leading international and offshore law firms in jurisdictions across the world.

Sonya Boxer

...gained her LLB from Bristol University. She trained and qualified at Norton Rose, then practiced as an employment lawyer before moving into legal recruitment in 2002. She has since worked with some of the leading firms in the market, advising a portfolio of over 30 top UK and US law firms, as well as specialist firms, on their key strategic needs. She has wide-ranging experience of assisting senior lawyers, partners and teams on the steps involved in choosing and moving firms. This has been across the range of practice disciplines and includes assisting a number of qualified barristers to roles in private practice when disillusioned with life at the Bar.

The Research Team

Laila Caruso

...has a BA (Hons) in Law and History and an LL.M from the University Of London. In 2003 she spent four months in India working with the British Council and the School Of Oriental and African Studies on an international human rights law project. She then taught for a year at the School of Oriental and African Studies as a tutor for the 1st year LL.B students. Laila joined Glass Consultancy in 2005 as a researcher.

Helen Kellett

...read law at Liverpool University and trained and qualified at Ashurst. She joined a major legal recruiter in 1993, working for a range of clients at a senior level - both nationally and internationally. In 1997 she was appointed UK Recruitment Director at Andersen Legal where she spent 5 years co-ordinating and implementing recruitment at all levels for the legal practice. After taking a career break, Helen joined Glass Consultancy in 2009.

Gina Latner

… has an LLB (Hons) from Leeds University and is a UK and US (New York) qualified lawyer, specialising in media and intellectual property work, both contentious and non-contentious. Gina was a solicitor in Finers Stephens Innocent’s Media Group for six years and joined Glass Consultancy in 2007 to focus on the development and delivery of Glass Consultancy’s high quality research product.
